Moshe Fishzon

Moshe Fishzon, painter , was born in 1908 in Warsaw, Poland to a family of artists. He began his career as a stage designer and painter for the Ballet of Felix Parnell. In 1930 he moved to Paris, where he teamed with many artists from the Ecole De Paris. During the German occupation, he fled to Russia, was condemned and then exiled to Siberia, where he spent 15 years in forced labor camps, until being released in 1956. After immigrating to Israel, he exhibited at the Chemerinsky Gallery and in many other places in Israel, where he also owned a studio in Jaffa. He died in 1982
